Registration for Pack Expo International 2012, to be held on October 28–31 in Chicago, Ill., is live at Packexpo.com. PMMI is a trade association of about 600 member companies that manufacture packaging, processing and related converting machinery in the United States or Canada; machinery components and packaging containers and materials. Show registration costs $30 online before October 8, 2012. Registration after October 8, 2012, will be $60.

“Pack Expo registration is officially open,” said Charles D. Yuska, president and CEO, PMMI. “And with exhibit sales already topping one million net square feet, and the expansion of the customer-centric strategy that made last year’s show so effective, attendees will get even more out of their time at Pack Expo International 2012.”

In addition to the innovation and insight that Pack Expo exhibitors bring to the show floor every fall, attendees can look forward to a range of new and returning features at Pack Expo International 2012:

  • This year will mark the debut of the Beverage Lounge, which will join the Pharmaceutical, Confectionery and Baking-Snack Lounges, connecting industry professionals with their peers on the show floor.
  • Attendees will see the return of several industry pavilions, including the Processing Zone, the sold out Confectionery Pavilion – again sponsored by the National Confectioners Association, the Pharmaceutical Pavilion and the Reusable Packaging Pavilion. These locations will serve as central hubs for their respective industries at Pack Expo International 2012.
  • An increased on site presence dedicated to Pack Expo’s Connected Communities, the online platform that connects attendees with their industry peers online with industry news and trends targeted to Baking-Snack, Pharmaceutical and Confectionery industries.

“Every year we make it our mission to make Pack Expo better than the year before, and we’re well on our way to meeting that goal,” Yuska added. For more information about the Pack Expo International 2012, visit Packexpo.com or contact [email protected].
